The renter must be at least 20 years old with full legal capacity and hold a valid driver's license recognized by the government of the country where the reserved rental shop (hereinafter "Partner Shop") is located. The renter must have no record of drunk driving, drug-impaired driving, or dangerous driving, and must consent to Unsmart International Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "this website") or the Partner Shop verifying the validity of the relevant documents through lawful means.

2. All prices are tax-inclusive. To protect your credit card transaction security, the cardholder and the renter must be the same person.
3. Please bring your original ID/passport, driver's license, and the credit card used for the transaction when picking up the vehicle.
4. If the cardholder who made the booking payment is not the renter, the cardholder must be present at vehicle pickup with relevant identification.

Renters using this website should note the following driver's license regulations:

1. Local residents at the pickup location must bring:
   1. An official driver's license issued by the local authority of the pickup location
2. Non-residents must understand the required documents at the pickup location in advance and bring the following:
   1. Driver's license issued by your home country + International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by your home country
   2. Holders of a Taiwan, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Germany, or Monaco driver's license renting in Japan must bring their home country license along with a certified Japanese translation of that license.

Important Notes:

1. Document requirements may vary by country or Partner Shop. Renters must confirm the driver's license requirements at the pickup location and prepare all necessary documents before renting.
2. Customers with a foreign driver's license renting in Taiwan should note: the issuing country of the driver's license must match the nationality on the passport used to enter Taiwan.
3. Hong Kong visitors renting in Taiwan must bring a valid Hong Kong driver's license and must apply for and carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) to avoid being denied service due to the shop's license policy.
4. If you are unable to present a valid driver's license and all required documents from the pickup country at the time of vehicle pickup, staff will refuse to provide rental service. No refund will be issued in such cases, and all resulting losses (including transportation, accommodation, and other incidental expenses) shall be borne solely by the renter. ensage and the Partner Shop shall not be held liable for any compensation.

1. The rental price does not include fuel (gasoline/diesel), parking fees, toll fees, or other traffic management fees. If the license plate is confiscated, rental fees from the date of confiscation until the date the road authority notifies that it may be retrieved shall be borne by the renter.
2. Mileage limits and surcharges for exceeding the limit are subject to each Partner Shop's policy.
3. Daily rental is calculated on a 24-hour basis. If the vehicle is returned late, overtime fees will be charged in accordance with each Partner Shop's policy. Renters wishing to extend the rental period must notify the Partner Shop before the agreed return time (advance notice period subject to each Partner Shop's policy).
4. For typhoon-related cancellations, the pickup time and location must fall within the period and zone covered by a land typhoon warning. Online cancellation and refund is available (fees will be refunded after the fact). If only a marine warning is issued, refunds are subject to each Partner Shop's policy. (Applicable to Taiwan Partner Shops only.)
5. If the pickup location is affected by force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, strikes), this website will determine whether to issue a cancellation refund or allow rescheduling. (Applicable to non-Taiwan Partner Shops only.)
6. Cruise passengers are not subject to Clause 5 of these Rental Terms & Conditions. To cancel a rental order, please follow the Partner Shop's cancellation and refund policy.
7. In the event of any accident, theft, or other incident involving the vehicle, please immediately notify the police, do not settle privately with the other party, and immediately notify the Partner Shop.
8. The Partner Shop reserves the right to refuse rental service under the following circumstances:
   1. The renter has outstanding unpaid traffic fines.
   2. The cardholder is not the renter, and the cardholder is neither present at pickup nor listed as a co-renter on the contract.
   3. The renter has held the driver's license for less than one year (subject to each Partner Shop's policy).
   4. Payment is made with a bank debit card (e.g., VISA debit card or other bank-issued debit cards).
   5. Pets are brought along without prior notice to customer service or the shop.

1. Once an order is confirmed, the pickup time, return time, vehicle type, and add-on selections cannot be modified. To make changes, please cancel the order in the Member Center and rebook.
2. To cancel an order, please email customer service at [email protected]. Our team will assist with the cancellation. Cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with this company's and the Partner Shop's regulations.
3. If the renter fails to pick up the vehicle within 1 hour past the scheduled time, the Partner Shop reserves the right to reassign the vehicle to another customer.
4. If the reserved vehicle cannot be dispatched due to force majeure, the Partner Shop may substitute with a vehicle of equivalent grade or refund the deposit.

For any matters not covered above, please refer to the Terms of Use and each Partner Shop's regulations. The individual Partner Shop's rental contract shall serve as the final reference.
